All students are welcome, whether they have a professional dance career in mind, wish to pursue examinations or want to take dance classes purely for enjoyment, exercise and the challenge that dance training presents.
A solid technical foundation in classical ballet and modern jazz has always formed the core of RCSB’s dance programme. RCSB also offers the dance styles of acro, lyrical contemporary and musical theatre.

Mosquito Man
This week’s Business Spotlight is Mosquito Man, a local mosquito, tick and pest-control service helping Guelph residents take back their yards during the height of summer. With backyard barbecues, patio nights, kids playing outside and pets spending more time outdoors, mosquito and tick prevention is especially relevant right now.
Mosquito Man offers services in Guelph for mosquitoes, ticks, ants, fleas, spiders, wasps and other common pests, with options like barrier sprays, larvicide applications and yard-protection packages. It’s a practical local business to have on your radar this week, especially for anyone trying to make their backyard more comfortable through the rest of the summer.
Spot of the Week
This week’s Food Spot of the Week is Chief’s Place, a new Turkish food truck bringing homemade flavours to south Guelph. Located at 1475 Gordon Street, just north of Lowes Road, the truck is run by the Cosar family, who came to Canada after being displaced by the 2023 earthquake in Turkey. The menu includes Turkish-style shawarma served in saj bread, along with kebabs, shish, baba ghanoush, falafel, homemade pickles, sauces and Turkish tea. It’s a great casual stop for anyone in the south end looking for something different, especially with a small seating area and hours that run from noon to midnight every day except Monday. Around Guelph This Week
Transit app ends this week — Guelph Transit’s OnYourWay mobile app stops working on July 27. Riders can get a free physical fare card until July 28 before the app is fully retired.
Vacant home reporting is now open — Residents can now report homes that appear to be sitting empty for more than six months as Guelph rolls out its new vacant home tax program.
New renter protections are rolling out — Guelph has approved new renoviction and rental replacement rules aimed at protecting tenants during major renovations and preserving affordable rental units.
Water bills now come from the City — Guelph residents are now getting separate water bills directly from the City, with a new online portal for payments, e-billing, balances, and account setup.
Downtown is easier to access again — Lower Wyndham Street has reopened between Wellington and Carden, and the City is reminding residents that downtown businesses remain open during construction.
Guelph says more housing is in the pipeline — A new City report says more than 1,300 housing units were added to Guelph’s future housing pipeline in 2025, even as the broader housing market slowed.
