All students are welcome, whether they have a professional dance career in mind, wish to pursue examinations or want to take dance classes purely for enjoyment, exercise and the challenge that dance training presents.
A solid technical foundation in classical ballet and modern jazz has always formed the core of RCSB’s dance programme. RCSB also offers the dance styles of acro, lyrical contemporary and musical theatre.

Mosquito Man
This week’s Business Spotlight is Mosquito Man, a local mosquito, tick and pest-control service helping Guelph residents take back their yards during the height of summer. With backyard barbecues, patio nights, kids playing outside and pets spending more time outdoors, mosquito and tick prevention is especially relevant right now.

This week’s Food Spot of the Week is Milk & Co., the local cookie shop now settled into its bigger home at 505 York Road. Known for its thick, Levain-style cookies, Milk & Co. has built a loyal following in Guelph and recently moved into a larger space at the corner of York and Victoria. It’s a great stop for anyone craving a sweet treat, with cookies, take-home mixes and their popular Buon Gusto affogato collab featuring a cookie cup, vanilla gelato and espresso. Around Guelph This Week
Downtown vouchers start next week — Starting Aug. 11, the Downtown Guelph Business Association will hand out $25 vouchers Tuesday to Saturday to encourage people to support downtown businesses during construction.
Teens ride transit free in August — Youth ages 13 to 17 can ride Guelph Transit for free all month with a registered OnYourWay fare card.
Local charities need a new home — The Children’s Foundation and The SEED are looking for a new warehouse space as the Huron Street site they use is set for redevelopment. The groups support more than 20,000 children, youth and families each year.
Guelph General gets major support — The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital transferred $18.5 million to the hospital, helping fund equipment and the new Speedvale Campus, which has already completed more than 8,000 patient scans.
South End Community Centre still on track — The City’s latest progress report says the new South End Community Centre remains on track and on budget to open this fall.
Municipal election deadline is coming — Candidate nominations for Guelph’s 2026 municipal election close Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. The City is also accepting applications for election workers.
